Founded in 1999 in São Paulo, Triunfo is one of Brazil’s leading companies in the infrastructure sector and is considered a pioneer for the diversity of its operating segments. Triunfo was one of the first companies to acquire a highway concession in Brazil, in 1995.
It currently manages 2,140.5 km of highways and is one of the leading players in this segment, both in number of kilometers managed and in revenue and traffic volume. In this sector, the company manages five toll road concessionaires: Concer, located in Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais, Triunfo Concepa, located in Rio Grande do Sul, Triunfo Concebra, which runs through Brasília (DF), Goiás and Minas Gerais, Triunfo Econorte, which manages 341 km of highway in Paraná and Triunfo Transbrasiliana, which manages 321 km of the BR 153 highway.
In the energy sector, Triunfo holds 50.1% interest in Tijoá, the concessionaire responsible for operating the Três Irmãos Hydroelectric Plant in the interior of São Paulo, with generation capacity of 807.50 MW.
In the airport segment, Triunfo is a member of the Aeroportos Brasil Viracopos consortium, responsible for expanding and managing the Viracopos International Airport, in Campinas, for 30 years. The airport is designed to receive 25 million passengers a year and is responsible for transporting nearly 40% of all airborne cargo in the country.
